Schleuniger, Inc. to Showcase Wire Processing Solutions at IPC APEX EXPO 2013

Schleuniger to Feature RotaryStrip 2400, UniStrip 2550, UniStrip 2300 and More

Schleuniger, Inc., a leading international manufacturer of high-precision wire processing machines, will demonstrate select equipment from its comprehensive range of wire processing products at IPC APEX EXPO 2013. The conference and exhibition will be held at the San Diego Convention Center on February 19 - 21, 2013 and will include over 400 exhibitors showing advanced and emerging technologies in printed board design, manufacturing and electronics assembly and test. Schleuniger will be at booth #516 providing hands-on demonstrations of innovative solutions for stripping, cutting, sealing, crimping and marking of all types of wire and cable.

Innovative new product design, long-term experience, and open communication with customers is how Schleuniger's product range has been consistently refined and grown since 1975. More than 10,000 companies worldwide now rely on the efficiency of Schleuniger wire processing solutions and at IPC APEX EXPO 2013 the company will provide attendees with an up close look at some of its most popular equipment.

Schleuniger's demonstration will include the innovative UniStrip 2300 programmable stripping machine. This machine does not require any mechanical adjustments to process different wire sizes and with its proven accuracy and repeatability, it has become the machine of choice for those looking for extreme reliability. Other popular machines that will be part of the exhibition include the CoaxStrip 5300 programmable coaxial cable stripping machine known for its unmatched stripping quality, and the StripCrimp 200, one of the most flexible stripper crimper machines on the market.

Schleuniger will also showcase the RotaryStrip 2400 and UniStrip 2550, the latest additions to its line of bench top stripping equipment. The RotaryStrip 2400 is the next generation single conductor wire stripping machine which easily strips Teflon, Kapton and Fiberglass insulated wires with optional twisting of the inner strands. The flexible UniStrip 2550 is uniquely designed to process an expanded range of applications. The machine comes standard with V-blades, the optimum solution for stripping most wires without having to change blades. Yet, is also able to use radius, die or flat blades, making the UniStrip 2550 perfect for difficult to strip insulations such as Teflon, Kapton and Kynar.

The machines being demonstrated are just a few in Schleuniger's extensive range of innovative wire processing solutions. Schleuniger's wire processing experts will be on hand at the exhibition to discuss all of Schleuniger's products and services including the recently released CrimpCenter 36 S, fully automatic crimping machine. The CrimpCenter 36 S, successor to the CrimpCenter 36, utilizes new design concepts to even further increase precision, durability and over-all user friendliness while further reducing set-up time. Dynamic, powerful servo drives combined with an intelligent control system provide high production rates to meet even the most demanding production schedules.
