Schleuniger, Inc. to Exhibit New Wire Processing Equipment at the Assembly Show
Schleuniger, Inc., a leading international manufacturer of high-precision wire processing machines, will be exhibiting at The Assembly Show, an assembly focused trade show aimed at helping suppliers, buyers and users of assembly equipment in manufacturing plants connect, learn, share and explore all things assembly. This exclusive showcase will be held October 23-25, 2018 at the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. Schleuniger will be at booth #231 providing hands-on demonstrations of innovative solutions for stripping, cutting, crimping and marking all types of wire and cable.
For the first time at The Assembly Show, Schleuniger will demonstrate its new CrimpCenter 36 SP fully automatic crimping machine. The SP version of the very successful CrimpCenter 36 S, offers up to six processing stations, decreased set up time and increased performance. Among the improvements are optimized default parameter settings, a newly developed deposit gripper system, improved synchronization of the feeding unit and conveyor, increased feeding speeds from 8 m/s to 10m/s, improved wire straighteners, automatic pressure adjustment, an automatic slider tray and more. Increased productivity and decreased cost per lead, are guaranteed.
Schleuniger will also be showcasing its latest generation of benchtop coaxial cable stripping machines. With a 20 percent increase in production output, this new family of programmable, multi-step rotary strippers allows for precise stripping of coaxial, triaxial and multi-conductor cable, as well as single conductor wires. Additional features include “Cable End Detection” for higher strip length precision, “Cable Diameter Verification” for quality assurance, an “Automatic Cable Retraction Function” for easier processing of long strip lengths, and a four-blade design to ensure that even very thin, hard-molded or slightly out-of-round insulations can be stripped. This exciting new generation of coaxial cable stripping machines offers higher productivity and lower operating costs.
A full complement of laser wire stripping machines, from Laser Wire Solutions, will also be on display. The powerful processing capabilities of the Mercury-4, Mercury-5 and Odyssey-4 models guarantee nick-free stripping with radial and axial incision capabilities. The precision and flexibility of these machines produce high quality production results and offer a very high range of possible applications.
Many additional products will be demonstrated, including the MultiStrip 9480, EcoStrip 9380, StripCrimp 200 and UniCrimp 200 as well as equipment from the UniStrip line of wire stripping machines.
