Schenck Corporation 50th Anniversary
Schenck Corporation of Deer Park is the North American headquarters of Schenck GmbH in Germany, the leading global manufacturer of industrial balancing machines. Schenck will honor its 50th anniversary of doing business in North America with a celebration at its manufacturing location at 535 Acorn Street, Deer Park, NY on August 22, 2014.
Schenck was founded in Germany in 1881 as a manufacturer of scales and weighing devices, followed by the development and manufacture of dynamic balancing machines and testing equipment. Schenck was represented in the U.S.A. after World War II by a Swiss machine tool company, and in 1964 Schenck incorporated in New York. Schenck Corporation has 110 employees in North America, including 75 employees in Deer Park, NY.
