ScanSource Executive Brenda McCurry Joins AIM Board

Brings extensive distribution and vertical expertise to Board

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | April 8, 2020 | AIM, the leading industry association and global authority for for nearly 50 years in innovation, standards, and solutions in barcode, biometrics, IoT, NFC, RFID, RTLS, and RAIN announced today the appointment of Brenda McCurry to its Board of Directors.

Ms. McCurry is Vice President of Supplier Services, POS and Barcode for ScanSource, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCSC), a leading provider of technology products and solutions. McCurry manages ScanSource’s supplier relationships, guides strategy, and directs her team in identifying and developing growth opportunities. A seasoned channel professional, she has been with ScanSource since 1993. Prior to assuming her current role as Vice President of Supplier Services, Ms. McCurry held positions throughout ScanSource focused on marketing program success, new customer recruitment, and sales, including Marketing Manager and Director of Merchandising.

A graduate of Clemson University with a degree in administrative management, Ms. McCurry is also a mentor at Greenville’s Frazee Dream Center, a free preschool and after school program for under resourced children, and a former board member of the ScanSource Charitable Foundation. She has been recognized as a ScanSource President’s Club winner and has also participated in ScanSource Leadership Institute. Prior to joining ScanSource, Ms. McCurry spent ten years in sales and product management roles in the IT distribution industry.
