Sandvik Coromant to Sponsor Bill Miller Engineering at 2008 US Nationals
Fair Lawn, New Jersey, June 30, 2008 - Sandvik Coromant will be sponsoring Bill Miller Engineering's Top Fuel Dragster Team at the NHRA's 2008 US Nationals. Considered the most prestigious drag race event in the world, the US Nationals will be held August 29 - September 1 at the O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Since 1975, Bill Miller Engineering has supplied NHRA and NASCAR teams with high performance engine components, including pistons, rods and superchargers. The company maintains its own T/F dragster and races in NHRA events to refine its product designs and promote a team philosophy within its business.
As part of its sponsorship of the team, Sandvik Coromant will be inviting customers to attend the US Nationals as distinguished guests of Bill Miller Engineering. Attendees will be provided reserved seats to the races and also have the opportunity to spend time in the pit, witnessing firsthand the spectacle of NHRA drag racing.
