Sandvik Coromant Names New Application Development Engineer for Aerospace
Fair Lawn, New Jersey, August 8, 2008 - Akio Shiraiwa was recently promoted to the position of Application Development Engineer at Sandvik Coromant.
Mr. Shiraiwa will join Bruce Carter and Chris Mills, the cutting tool supplier's Aerospace Projects Manager and National Portfolio Manager, in developing initiatives for aerospace machining at the company's Aerospace Application Center in Fair Lawn, New Jersey.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Shiraiwa served at Sandvik Coromant's Advanced Center for Engineered Solutions (ACES), an organization that allows for the free exchange of ideas within the company's international engineering community.
