S&P Money Market Directories Launches Second Electronic Directory

Profiles of over 17,000 investment advisory firms available online

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., June 12 // -- Standard & Poor's Money Market Directories, the financial research industry's leading provider of pension fund-related information, today announced the release of its second electronic directory -- the RIA eDirectory. The first release in the MMD suite of eDirectories was the Consultant eDirectory in February 2006.

Designed to enhance prospecting and marketing effectiveness for our customers, the RIA eDirectory replaces its print counterpart, the Directory of Registered Investment Advisors.

The new electronic directory contains in-depth profiles on over 17,000 SEC- or state-registered investment advisory firms, including 12,244 asset management firms. Together these advisors manage more than $33 trillion of taxable and tax-exempt assets.

Comprehensive in scope, the RIA eDirectory provides an in-depth view of each advisory firm. Beyond basic details such as main office, telephone, and fax number, users receive a wealth of value-added information including, the names, hire dates, direct phone numbers and e-mail addresses of principal officers and client contacts; portfolio managers, analysts and traders, with specialties identified. In addition, it reports total assets under management, asset allocation and client composition for taxable and tax-exempt assets; sources of research; fee schedule; association memberships; services offered; and branch offices.

"The RIA eDirectory represents Standard & Poor's commitment to technology and our customers' need to access high quality financial information with the assurance of accuracy and speed," said Thom Lupo, Vice President and General Manager of Standard & Poor's Directory Services. "Whether our customers are looking to market brokerage services or mutual funds, find appropriate investment managers for institutional clients or form strategic business alliances, we provide the information they need right on their PC."

With electronic access, users can search firms by name or city/state, display individual listings and print out profiles of those organizations of interest to them. They can also look up prospects that appear in a series of Tables and Reports. Hyperlinks enable users to select any organization from any report or table and link back to its profile.
