RT Systems Receives Order to Provide Sequence Verification System System for Toll Logistics in Melbourne, Australia.
RT Systems, Inc. has received an order to install our Sequence Verification System (SVS) for Toll Logistics, a leading Australian logistics provider. Toll operates a logistics center providing just in time parts delivery for a Ford Motor Company assembly plant, in Melbourne, Australia.
SVS will be installed in this facility, and By mid 2008, it is expected that over 30 commodities will be sequenced under SVS control. Symbol Technologies RF terminals will be included to provide the necessary scan verification control.
Founded in 1989, RT Systems, Inc. produces, markets, and supports a customizable warehouse management system, called RT LOCATOR, utilizing bar code automatic identification and radio frequency (RF) communications. RT LOCATOR runs on Windows 2003/XP, and utilizes either the Microsoft SQL Server or Sybase SQL Studio Anywhere DBMS.
Our SVS System has previously been implemented in several just in time sequence operations, including several for Android Industries and at the General Motors assembly plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
