RPM Bolsters Its Corporate Development Team


John F. Kramer Hired as Vice President of Corporate Development

MEDINA, Ohio, Nov. 15 / -- RPM International Inc.
(NYSE: RPM) today announced that John F. Kramer has joined the company as vice
president -- corporate development. Kramer will work with the corporate team
and RPM's operating companies to develop their acquisition growth strategies
and will assist in executing these initiatives in support of RPM's overall
acquisition program. He will report to Stephen J. Knoop, senior vice
president -- corporate development.

Previously, Kramer was senior corporate counsel with The Sherwin-Williams
Company where he was employed for more than 11 years and held a variety of
legal positions. During his tenure with that company, he was the primary
general corporate legal counsel for its international divisions and managed
the legal aspects of its international acquisitions and divestitures. Prior,
he was an associate with a Cleveland based law firm doing general corporate
and transactional work.

"John's extensive international experience, particularly with acquisitions
and divestitures, will serve RPM well as we accelerate our global growth

Kramer earned his juris doctor degree in 1990 from The Ohio State
University College of Law and a bachelor of arts degree in economics from
Georgetown University in 1986. He is a member of the American Bar Association,
Ohio State Bar Association and Cleveland Bar Association. Kramer also serves
on the board of trustees of Concern for Children, Inc. and is vice president
and a member of the board of directors of the Greater Cleveland International
Lawyers Association.
