Hauppauge, NY - Royal Products has announced that they will present a suite of five innovative "Standard Special" Live Centers at IMTS (Booth W1622). These new, standard configurations have been designed to accommodate approximately 90% of what were previously considered custom-only application requirements-offering immediate availability and standard center pricing. Each design incorporates Royal's exclusive Roto-Shield technology to deflect coolant, protect bearings, and increase live center operating life by as much as 300%.
Other Royal products featured at IMTS 2012 include Rota-Rack® automated parts accumulators, Quick-Grip(TM) CNC collet chucks that provide 10-second collet changes, and Filtermist, the world's leading line of mist collectors.
According to Royal Products' Vice President of Marketing Tom Sheridan, "Because of its broad scope and unparalleled scale, we chose to introduce our Standard Special Live Centers at IMTS. These are exciting new products that amply represent the philosophy behind the entire Royal Products line performance accessories-Optimize Everything."
Also being presented at the Royal Products booth will be the Albrecht, Inc., Überchuck (www.uberchuck.com). Designed and manufactured in Germany, the Überchuck represents a breakthrough in tool holder technology that offers exceptional gripping torque, with better rigidity and vibration dampening than either heat-shrink or hydraulic CNC chucks. This translates to increased profitability through more aggressive cutting and throughput, faster tool changes, and extended tool life.
