Route1 MobiKEY Launched in Europe by T-Systems Partner Under X-KEY Brand

Route1 Receives 15,000 unit order from X-MS AG

TORONTO, Nov. 7-- Route1, Inc.(TM) (TSX-V:ROI), a market leader in providing secure, identity-managed remote computing solutions, today announced that T-Systems partner, X-MS AG, has acquired non-exclusive rights to sell Route1 MobiKEY throughout Europe. X-MS will be marketing the device under the T-Systems X-KEY brand, and will be making it available to corporations and government agencies through its expansive reseller channel.

Recognizing the potential for the X-KEY in this market, X-MS will be dedicated to selling this white-labelled version of the Route1 MobiKEY and has placed an initial order for 15,000 X-KEYs to meet the anticipated 2007 base-level of demand for the product.

"The European market is ready for a secure identity management product like the X-KEY, and we are confident that it will be rapidly adopted," said Dr. Hisham Lamei, co-founder of X-MS. "It provides an ideal solution for business continuity planning, remote access, and applications where highly secure access to enterprise and desktop resources is essential."

Horst Dahmen, X-MS co-founder added, "Our expansive telco sales channel is reporting strong interest in X-KEY based on initial communication to its extensive customer base. Sales have already been reported, and we look forward to many successes with this offering in the coming year."

"Having a T-Systems partner license and promote our product in Europe provides us with a tremendous opportunity to drive global appeal for MobiKEY," said Andrew White, CEO of Route1. "Through its telco channel partner and other signed channels, X-MS has unprecedented access to large corporations, global business and branches of the government, all of which can now empower their workforce to securely access their digital resources from any location, at any time."

"X-KEY is simple and a must for everyone who travels," continued Dr. Lamei. "This solution represents an easy-to-use combination of digital rights, trust centre technology and transmission capabilities of the Internet."
