Rogers, CT, March 10, 2006: Rogers Corporation (NYSE:ROG) will be exhibiting its full line of cellular, solid and specialty BISCO® Silicone materials at this year's SAMPE exhibition. These materials are manufactured in a wide variety of formulations to provide enhanced flame retardance in various gasketing, sealing, and cushioning applications within a railcar or aircraft.

Durable and flame retardant, BISCO Silicones meet the most stringent industry standards worldwide for flame, smoke and toxicity (FS&T) resistance. Both open- and closed-cell offerings withstand temperatures from -67ºF to 400ºF (-55ºC to 204ºC). They are available in a wide range of densities, thicknesses and composites.

BISCO Silicone's soft and firm products possess unsurpassed compression-set resistance and maintain physical properties throughout the service life of the vehicle. These materials demonstrate low water absorption and excellent environmental resistance to UV light, ozone, and corrosion. They also provide design solutions for vibration damping, shock absorption, and sealing. Available in roll form, with or without adhesives, these silicones are easily fabricated into various shapes and are versatile enough to satisfy most mass transit and aerospace design applications. Composite uses
include fire barriers, reflective heat shields, EMI/RFI sound barriers, and many others.

BISCO Silicones are manufactured within an ISO-9001 certified facility in Carol Stream, IL, and are available worldwide through our extensive distribution network.
