Robert Engle Named CEO of Otto Environmental Systems North America, Inc.
CHARLOTTE, NC –Â Luc Muller, Otto Group CEO, has announced the appointment of Robert Engle to CEO of Otto Environmental Systems North America, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Otto Industries North America, Inc., effective January 1, 2013. In a related move, Anthony Hardwick, who has recently served as CEO, has been named Vice Chairman of the Board of Otto Industries North America, Inc.
Robert has a long tenure in manufacturing with over 25 years’ experience. For the past five years Robert has served as President Americas at Schoeller Arca Systems, Inc. Schoeller manufactures reusable plastic packaging for industries including automotive, beverage, and agriculture. Robert was instrumental in the growth and development of several large customers in pallets and crates, while overseeing product and new market development. Prior to this role, Robert was Vice President, Supply Chain for Dole Food Company, the world’s largest producer and marketer of fresh fruit and vegetables and a Fortune 500 company. Robert led the supply chain operations for the $1.6B fresh vegetables division. Here Robert managed numerous manufacturing and distribution centers, while re-engineering its supply chain and operations outfits to realize improved on-time delivery and cost savings. Robert is currently the Acting Chairman for the Reusable Packaging Association (RPA).
