Richard P. Rosati named chairman of ASTM Committee F15.

ASTM International Consumer Products Committee Names Richard P. Rosati as New Chairman



Richard P. Rosati, vice president of governmental affairs and industry standards at Bureau Veritas in Buffalo, N.Y., has been named chairman of ASTM International Committee F15 on Consumer Products. 



Formed in 1973, F15 includes 56 technical committees that oversee more than 100 standards related to the safety of consumer products including playground and athletic equipment, pool safety, amusement rides, candles, and more. Rosati has been a member of ASTM since 2002.



Rosati has been with Bureau Veritas since 2000 having previously served as a senior loss consultant for Kemper Insurance Companies. A graduate of State University College at Buffalo, Rosati holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology. He also holds an MBA in international business from St. Bonaventure University.



Rosati is a member of the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association, the International Consumer Products Health and Safety Organization, and active in industry organizations such as TIA, ANSI, AAFA, and ASQ.
