U.S. Surface Transportation System: Inaction Must Not Be an Option

A Revenue-Neutral Proposal for Moving Beyond the Gas Tax

America is facing a looming transportation crisis, something U.S. businesses and American drivers know all too well.

The political reality is that Congress is not likely to raise the gas tax, the source of the majority of transportation funding, to pay for increased investment. As a result, Congress is poised to reduce highway spending significantly, further exacerbating the transportation crisis and the threat it poses to American competitiveness and economic prosperity.

We offer a solution.
