Rehacare 2008: Three New Lifting Solutions to Be Unveiled

ThyssenKrupp Accessibility Holding, a subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp Elevator AG, Dusseldorf, will be presenting new developments in all three product categories at the international Rehacare trade show in Dusseldorf.

The "Levant" stair lift - the ideal solution for straight staircases - will make its world debut at the Rehacare show. Its modern design from chair to rail combined with high functionality meets the highest aesthetic requirements. Arm and foot rests can be folded away to allow people to pass safely and easily even on narrow staircases. The "Levant" also offers outstanding value for money and naturally complies with all relevant safety standards worldwide.

"RPsp" is a new platform lift designed particularly for use in public buildings. Ideal for straight steps both indoors and out, it comes in a large choice of platform sizes allowing it to be adapted easily to all architectural requirements. It features robust and dependable technology and includes clever features such as an ergonomic "control key" - developed in collaboration with handicapped people - and a readily accessible cable shaft.

"Elegance" is a comfortable home elevator with a remarkable range of design and appointment options: details can be selected individually from several hundred possibilities, from materials to ceiling lighting to handrails. The TUV-certified home elevator combines comfort and style with functionality and practicability, allowing the "Elegance" to blend in with every decor.

"The introduction of three new accessibility products demonstrates once again that we are an experienced partner when it comes to barrier-free solutions. We can supply suitable and sustainable products both for private customers and public areas," said Dr. Michael Wahrisch, CEO, ThyssenKrupp Accessibility Holding in Essen.

"RPsp" and "Elegance" are already on the market, while the "Levant" will be available from January 2009. These and other products from ThyssenKrupp Accessibility can be viewed and tested at booth C66 in hall 3 of the Dusseldorf exhibition center from October 15 to 18.
