Indianapolis, Indiana, January 9, 2006 - REGO-FIX will display a variety of products ideal for small part machining and the medical industry at the Medical Design & Manufacturing West Exposition, to be held January 31 to February 2, 2006. MD&M West represents the world's largest exposition focused on medical device manufacturing, and will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. REGO-FIX's proven powRgrip collet system has set a new medical industry standard for toolholding. This revolutionary system uses a toolholder and collet that can generate very high clamping forces higher than shrink-fit holders and hydraulic chucks. Not only does the powRgrip system offer high clamping force, but also features a dynamic dampening effect that will increase surface finishes and tool life when cutting complex materials used in the medical industry with a run-out of 0.0001" or better.
Also featured at MD&M West will be REGO-FIX's guaranteed Ultra-Precision (UP) collets. UP collets are part of the company's ER collet series, the most widely used and accepted clamping system in the world. Offered in standard and metric sizes, UP collets range from the ER 8 series to the ER 50 series. This broad selection of ER collets can accurately clamp tool shanks ranging from 0.2mm (0.0079") up to 34.0mm (1.3386"), and ensuring the tightest possible tolerances of 0.0002" or better.
