Rayotek Sight Windows Passes Annual Audit for ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Rayotek Sight Windows has passed its annual surveillance audit for ISO 9001:2008 Certification. The audit ensures that a company is living up to the standards set forth by its Quality Management System under the guidelines of ISO9001:2008 policies. The audit was performed by ISO Registrar NSF International, with no findings and with high praise from the auditor John Leon who spoke to many employees in engineering, production, sales and management about their understanding of the quality policy and their roles in contributing to its success. He commented, “this can only happen with the hard work, dedication, and acute awareness exhibited by employees.”
"Continuing our ISO certification demonstrates our commitment to quality within all levels of our organization," said Rayotek Sight Windows’ Quality Assurance Manager Chuck Shatzer. "Quality management is not new to us - we have had AS9003 self-certification since 2008, and were originally certified for ISO 9001:2008 in 2011 by Perry Johnson Registrars. Our continued certification is an important indication of what customers can expect when they entrust Rayotek Sight Windows with their business."
ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally recognized standard used by manufacturing and service organizations to develop a quality management system. Its goal is to achieve continuous improvement in quality and customer satisfaction. The ISO standards are a collection of formal international standards, technical specifications, technical reports, handbooks and web based documents on quality management. There are approximately 25 documents in the collection altogether, with new or revised documents being developed on an ongoing basis. ISO Technical Committee and its sub-committees are responsible for the development of the standards.
