Mansfield, Texas (PRWeb) May 10, 2019 -- Design-build commercial modular construction firm Ramtech Building Systems of Mansfield, Texas has announced the purchase of five of the company's industry standard eight classroom modular school buildings by the Cleveland (TX) Independent School District. One of the new facilities will be installed at the school district's middle school, while the other four modular buildings will be split between Cleveland High School and the Eastside Elementary school campuses. Ramtech is providing one modular building from its current inventory, while the other four buildings will be manufactured prior to delivery and installation by the end of June. All of the modular school buildings utilize R-Panel metal siding for the exterior, with vinyl covered gypsum walls and vinyl composition tile flooring in the interior. Ramtech expects to complete the entire modular school project during the first week of August.

Located in the Texas Education Agency's Region 4, part of the greater Houston area, the Cleveland ISD serves the cities of Cleveland and Plum Grove as well as portions of San Jacinto and Montgomery counties. Beginning in May of 2018, the Cleveland ISD began utilizing Ramtech's extensive line of standard double and multiple classroom building offerings to meet the burgeoning student populations at each of its campuses. Since 2014 the district has doubled its student population to more than 6,500. Under current projections, by 2021 the Cleveland schools are projected to enroll more than 10,000 students. According to Ramtech president Linc Moss, "Cleveland ISD's explosive student growth requires the ability of a vertically integrated company like Ramtech who can mobilize its manufacturing and construction assets in order to quickly provide modular buildings at multiple locations to meet such an urgent need." In the past 12 months the fast-growth designated district has acquired 18 buildings from Ramtech totaling 59,256 square feet. These modular facilities include the five new multiple classroom buildings, 12 portable double classrooms, and a toilet trailer.
