QUSA Thermal Announces ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 Certification of its Manufacturing Facility
IATF 16949 is the highest quality standard recognized by Automotive Manufacturers.
Boca Raton, FL, July 23, 2018: QUSA Thermal, Inc. a global leader in providing high-grade thermal insulation solutions to the automotive, on & off-road equipment, power generation, industrial and marine industries is pleased to announce that its manufacturing unit has achieved IATF 16949:2016 certification, the highest international quality standard for the automotive industry. It also holds the ISO 9001:2015 certification.
With the manufacturing unit based in India operated by its affiliate company Q-Shield Diesel & Gas Technologies Pvt. Ltd., QUSA Thermal is able to provide its product on a global basis from an ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 certified facility. IATF 16949:2016 is not a stand-alone quality management standard, but is implemented as a supplement to, and in conjunction with, ISO 9001:2015. All automotive suppliers are required to upgrade their Quality Management Systems and achieve certification to IATF 16949 by September of 2018.
