Quantum Expands in Chicago
Quantum Storage Systems expands into Chicago:
It is nice to be able to report some good news during this troubled economy. Quantum Storage Systems recently expanded their distribution points by purchasing an 18,000 square foot facility in the Chicago area.
This facility is stocked from floor to ceiling with chrome plated wire shelving. "we really needed to come into the Midwest with a distribution center", said Ed Granger Director of Sales for Quantum. "We can now service our Midwest Distributors with same day or next day shipping and we have drastically reduced freight rates and transit times for these customers". According to Mr. Granger, "business levels are expanding and suppliers like Quantum really need to make the investment to increase speed and focus on overall cost reduction for customers to be able to compete in this new economy".
