Mississauga, ON - February 22, 2006 - Psion Teklogix (LSE: PON), a global provider of solutions for mobile computing, wireless data collection, imaging and RFID, today announced a strategic alliance with Celergy Networks Inc., a national leader in the field of IT infrastructure design and support. Under the partnership, Psion Teklogix will utilize Celergy's expertise as a provider of cabling connectivity and the two companies will work together to develop solutions for mobility customers across a number of vertical markets including warehouse, transportation, ports, rail, airports, and government.
Both organizations expect this strategic alliance to build customer growth by ultimately making it easier for customers to implement and manage wireless infrastructure and applications through the provision of streamlined solutions. The future potential for expansion within the network management channel also exists, where Celergy Networks could look to leverage Psion Teklogix' technologies to improve its services.
