Protiviti Governance Portal Adds Arabic Translation with Right-to-Left Language Capability
Native-language capabilities help multinational companies manage a consistent yet localized governance solution

(www.protiviti.com), a global business consulting and internal audit firm, today announced it has enhanced the multilingual capabilities of its Governance Portal with an Arabic translation for users who are accustomed to reading right-to-left. The new capability makes it easier for multinational companies, including those in more than 25 Middle Eastern and African countries, to establish and manage a uniform governance, risk and compliance (GRC) strategy.
Users can access the same Governance Portal system in their respective languages, ensuring uniform communication and reliable consolidated reporting across an international user community while also gaining increased GRC efficiency and improved decision-making.
In addition to helping establish a uniform GRC strategy, a single instance of the Governance Portal for multiple languages can eliminate the risk of encountering inconsistencies between different versions of the platform. System administrators can streamline communications across their user community. Support for right-to-left languages is the latest advance in Protiviti's multilingual capabilities, which was announced in August 2010. Currently supported languages include Arabic, Dutch, English, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. In addition, the Governance Portal offers a simplified translation upload capability that enables local offices to add additional languages into the system or add local dialects and business terms into an existing translation.
