Prince Minerals Selects IFS Applications for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Itasca, Ill.- IFS Applications has been selected by Prince Minerals as its enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.
Prince is a leading value-added distributer of specialty mineral products with a particular focus on naturally occurring minerals and pigment applications. Prince services a variety of markets and industries worldwide and its products enjoy widespread use in brick, glass, foundries, refractories, cement, steel, oil and gas and numerous other industrial and agricultural applications. It was formed via the acquisition of The Prince Manufacturing Company in 2003, followed by American Minerals in 2005, Tarmac Minerals and Materials in 2006, Castle Colours in 2009, RMI in 2010, IGC Technologies, LLC in 2011 and Densimix in 2012. Of critical importance to Prince Minerals in selecting IFS was the ability of IFS Applications to support complex batch and continuous process manufacturing, and IFS's strong local support in the various countries where it has operations. Also important was the agility and flexibility of IFS Applications to handle the diverse operational requirements of the various divisions and the ability for quick implementations across additional divisions in the future.
