Prime Energy Appoints New Director of Operations


LA PORTE, Texas (Feb. 28, 2006) - Prime Energy, a long-time leader in oil-free air compressor rentals in North America, today announced the appointment of James Blohm to the position of director of operations. Blohm will be located at the company's headquarters in La Porte, Texas.

"He has 20 years of experience in the oil field equipment and chemical manufacturing industries where he developed superior management expertise and leadership talents that will be invaluable to our company as we move forward."

As director of operations, Blohm will be responsible for managing and leading Prime Energy's business development, marketing, and fleet groups. Prior to joining Prime Energy, Blohm served as vice president of sales operations at National Oilwell Varco in Houston. There, he managed the sales component of a $240 million business unit and cultivated a Global Account Management team responsible for generating $80 million in revenue.

Blohm received an MBA from Rice University and a bachelor's degree in operations management from the University of Houston.
