Precision Quincy Announces Strategic Alliance with Pollution Control Products Co.

Woodstock, IL, 7/03/09 - Industrial process oven manufacturer, Precision Quincy Corp. has formed a strategic alliance with Dallas, TX based burn-off oven manufacturer, Pollution Control Products Co. Essex Brownell will offer these complementary lines of curing and stripping ovens to better serve the motor, transformer and motor repair industries.

The companies exhibited for the first time as an alliance at the 2009 EASA Convention and Exhibition (Electrical Apparatus Service Association, Inc.) held June 14-16 at the America's Center in St. Louis, MO. The show's focus is on the sales and service divisions of the electrical apparatus (AC & DC motors, generators, transformers, etc.) industry.

The alliance combines the strengths and specialties of each company's ovens into a single electric motor repair package. Pollution Control Products' stripping ovens are at the front end of the repair process; stripping and removing the defective varnish from the electric motors, while Precision Quincy's ovens conclude the process by curing the replacement varnish used in the repair.

Precision Quincy Corp. was founded in 1943 and is a manufacturer of industrial process ovens serving many diverse markets. Pollution Control Products Co. was founded in 1971 and has long served the electric motor rewinding industry with their "burn-off " and thermal stripping ovens. Both companies are excited to offer their products to the marketplace with the support of Essex Brownell's vast distribution network.
