CLEVELAND, OH—November 6, 2018—The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), publisher of MetalForming and 3D Metal Printing magazines, has hired Damon Wolf as sales manager.

In this role, Wolf will handle all print, online and other sales related to MetalForming and 3D Metal Printing in the Midwest territory, and also assist in managing activity in other sales territories. He will work closely with Brad Kuvin, publisher/editorial director of these publications, to develop new products and drive revenue.

“We are excited to bring Damon on board to help expand our publications and take them to the next level,” said William Gaskin, PMA president. “His experience and penchant for new ideas, combined with our editors who together total 102 years covering metals-related manufacturing, solidify MetalForming and 3D Metal Printing as go-to publications for their readers and those that supply them.”

Wolf comes to PMA from GIE Media, where he served for 10 years as regional sales manager for that company’s three manufacturing publications. Prior to that, he sold for American Machinist, then a publication of Penton Media, and other B2B industry magazines, totaling 18 years of B2B publishing experience.

“Damon’s knowledge of and passion for manufacturing makes him the ideal candidate for our new, inhouse sales manager position,” said Kuvin. “He brings excitement and a progressive outlook that will add to our reach and capabilities in serving readers and providing platforms for advertisers. We are happy to have Damon and look forward to working closely with him in serving the industry.”
