Precision Medical Products, Inc. (PMP) Hires Brian Tennies as Director of Manufacturing


Brian Tennies, Director of Manufacturing, will have the responsibility for all manufacturing, materials and related planning activities for the company. With more than 25 years in the medical device industry, Mr. Tennies has led multinational manufacturing operations and has been instrumental in design, layout, and construction of medical device manufacturing and packaging facilities in Asia.  He began his medical device career at Becton Dickinson and Company as a process engineer, then as a manufacturing superintendent, after previously working in various engineering positions for a division of General Motors.  He went on to work for Arrow International (acquired by Teleflex (TFX) in 2007 where he was plant manager at the Mount Holly New Jersey and later Chihuahua, Mexico facilities.  Over a span of 18 years, he rose to Vice President of Manufacturing and had operational responsibility for 10 manufacturing facilities world-wide with over 3,000 employees.  He managed the strategic sourcing, engineering development, product and process support, global logistics and demand planning functions.  He has spent the past seven years as an independent consultant.  He provided technical, operational, and product development support to existing medical device and start-up companies. Mr. Tennies holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
