MeadWestvaco's Chicago Plant Cited For Safety Achievements
ALEXANDRIA, VA. (March 28, 2007) - The Paperboard Packaging Council announced winners of its Safety Awards based upon achievements in 2006. MeadWestvaco's Chicago facility took the Chairman's Award for the most consecutive hours worked (336,766) without a single OSHA recordable incident. In 2006, five other carton plants received recognition for completing the full year without an incident.
