Polygon Names Summer Street Document Sector Manager

Summer Street has been named document sector manager for Polygon, a leader in disaster restoration services. Formerly the MCS division of Munters, Polygon was formed Oct. 1 and consists of 20 offices in North America.

In her new position, Street will be responsible for overseeing operations at the company's document centers in Glendale Heights, Ill. and Georgetown, Mass. - facilities that offer advanced techniques for document recovery and complete media restoration services from water, fire or mold damage. She will report directly to Jeff Rainville, director of sales and marketing for Polygon.

Street will be responsible for driving the document restoration business on a national level through sales activity, membership activity in national associations and other networking opportunities. She also will provide education to the industry on the technology and benefits of proper document restoration to increase the visibility of the Polygon brand.

Street has more than 12 years experience in the property damage emergency response industry, holding positions in management and sales.

Most recently, Street was vice president of business development for the Chicago Conservation Center, one of the nation's leading private art restoration and conservation laboratories.

"Her background in conservation adds a unique depth of understanding and sensitivity to some of the special needs and requirements of certain types of archival documents and historical paper materials," says Rainville.

She is a frequent speaker on the topic of disaster restoration and fine art conservation at PLRB and RIA and has been the featured speaker at internal training sessions conducted by ACE, Chubb, Hanover, Chartis and State Farm, among others.
Street received a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master's of business administration degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago.

She is a native of Arlington Heights, Ill., and resides in Waterford, Wis.
