Polygon Company, Industry Leading Manufacturing Company, Launches New Web Site


(Walkerton, IN, Polygon Company, today announced the
launch of the newly redesigned Web site. A recognized
leader in the engineered composite industry, Polygon
Company is the world's largest supplier of composite
cannula, the producer of dielectric insulating composite
shafts that are currently used in the majority of the
world's hand held tools and small appliances, the
developer of the self-lubricating bushing, holds over 60
patents for the variety of products produced. The
company has provided engineering, product
development and testing done in the Walkerton, Indiana
area for over 50 years.

The Web site, located at www.polygoncompany.com, and
contains an overview of the company and the variety of
products offered within the company's five strategic
market groups. Printable in PDF files are the company's
FAQ sheets (Frequently Asked Questions) and product
design guides. The user-friendly navigation and new RFQ
(Request for Quote) system provide engineers with a way
to upload information about their projects directly to the
company's engineering and sales group.

"Our biggest challenge has been in educating design
engineers about our composite products." Angie Yates,
Marketing Coordinator for Polygon Company, stated
during the development process. "There are so many
unique composite products that Polygon offers - we really
needed a Web site that clearly outlined our technology to
our customers." Angie Yates also stated "Our goal was to
highlight the Company's entrepreneurial sprit.... along with
our commitment to working with and listen to our
customers in the development stage of a product. Our new
site accomplishes this and more."

New Features Include:

* RICH PRODUCT INFORMATION. For every one of our five strategic market groups,
customers can go directly to a printable Design Guide and Frequently Asked Questions. Plus,
every product now has material and application information, a descriptive paragraph, and a
photo showing the product.

* SOMETHING NEW. Over a dozen Featured Product photo are rotated through the home
page, giving the site a fresh look.

* RESTRUCTURED CONTACT SECTIONS. Customers can choose to upload their drawings
and specifications these files then directly go to our sales engineering group. We have also
listed our distribution partners in our efforts to offer Polygon Company products worldwide.

* EDUCATION. The web site now includes the company and the products capabilities. This
gives our customers a better understanding of the different processes that go into
manufacturing our products and how a composite product may benefit their applications.
This is to give the customers much more than just a listing of features and benefits.

* ABOUT POLYGON COMPANY. This section provides information about the company,
how to contact Polygon company, how to apply for a job at Polygon Company, upcoming
events and much more.

* PRODUCT CATEGORIES. This organization of content helps the customer, who may not
be quite sure what Polygon Company offers. The market segments are listed along with
photo displays showing the variety of uses or products produced within that segment. This
helps a customer take a quick glance at all the available categories and make informed,
educated decisions.

Organized into our five marketing segments: PolyLube® is our composite bearings group,
PolySlide(TM) tubing for pneumatic and hydraulic applications, Polygon Tube® double insulated
and dielectric tubing for hand held tools, PolyStructure(TM) which is a variety of composite linear
shapes and profiles and PolyMed(TM) medical tubing product.

Polygon Company launched its new branding campaign this year. "Engineered Composites
for the World" is the statement defined what Polygon, as a company, offers to its customers.
Polygon is a unique company and our message needed to define the company on our
customer's terms. The new web site is a showcase for our branding efforts.

The current advertising image(s) and message was also revised this year. In an effort to bring
the company's market segments together and highlighting our priority on our customers. The
"Tell Us Where You Want To Go" message was decided upon to reinforce how, as a company,
Polygon is striving on open the lines of communication with our current and to potential
customers. We are directly asking them - "Where do you want to go?" The engineered
composite products that Polygon Company produces will help you get there. We also
incorporated a common visual aid to help communicate this message - the taxi. "We felt that
the taxi is a worldwide image that everyone could identify with and understand" stated Angie
Yates. "This is the culmination of a lot of hard work within the company and we are very proud of
not only the new web site but of the company and the products we produce."
