Polaroid Commercial ID Launches New Photo Identification Software Packages and Upgrades

WALTHAM, Mass., March 22 - Starting today, Polaroid Commercial ID Systems (PCID), a division of Polaroid Corporation, is launching ID Card Maker Entry Edition, a low-cost entry-level software package and ID Card Maker Weblink, a web-based identification program. PCID is also launching upgraded versions of ID Card Maker Version 6.0 Enhanced, Expert and Elite software packages with increased functionality over the current version (5.3), now available.
ID Card Maker Entry's affordable and functional software is one element of a suite of tools designed for smaller organizations. The software can be purchased with any Polaroid ID Card Printer and Image Capture software. For a truly affordable turnkey bundle, IDCM Entry software can be used with Polaroid Commercial ID's single-sided P3000 ID Card Printer, ID Card Maker Image Capture Basic Software, and a variety of capture devices. This combination creates an affordable, entry level in-house photo identification system for the security of employees, contractors and visitors.
ID Card Maker Weblink offers options to customers with multiple locations or the need to implement a secure Photo ID program via the Internet. ID Card Maker Weblink modules include Data Retrieval, Image Capture, Card Production, and Reports. Polaroid Commercial ID's world-class service team will provide ID Card Maker Weblink support for installation and technical assistance.
