Leading Manufacturers to Meet with Top-Quality Contract Suppliers at Sourcing Solutions(TM)



CLEVELAND, OH—General Electric, Briggs & Stratton, Tenneco, Rheem and other leading manufacturers will meet with dozens of top-quality contract suppliers of metal stampings, fabrications, components, special tooling and dies, and assemblies at the Precision Metalforming Association’s (PMA) second annual Sourcing Solutions™ event on September 17-18, 2014, in Nashville, TN.



During this event, companies that source will conduct in-person meetings with suppliers that have been pre-screened according to their parameters in order to find the best, most competitive resources for their projects.  Suppliers save the time and expense of months of travel and get introduced to qualified buyers from all over the region who are directly involved in the purchase of contract manufactured products and related services.



In advance of the procurement portion of the event, which begins on September 18 at 8:00 a.m., participants can attend three bonus educational sessions on September 17.  Michael Graska, founding member of the leadership team at Manufacturing Mart and adjunct professor at Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University, will give a presentation on collaborative forecasting; Ed Pretzel, partner with Advanced Purchasing Dynamics, will address how to increase the accuracy of the manufacturing costing process; and Robert Moakler, chief operating officer for Fabricating Partners, Inc., will discuss the importance of developing personal relationships.



Sourcing Solutions includes several networking opportunities, including a cocktail reception on September 17 and a breakfast and luncheon on September 18.
