Discounted Registration For Pack EXPO International 2008 Now Available Online

Arlington, Va.; April 15, 2008 - PMMI announces that online pre-registration for PACK EXPO International 2008, Nov. 9-13 at Chicago's McCormick Place, is now available. Attendees can get a 50 percent discount on registration fees and save time on site by using www.packexpo.com to register and plan for the show.

On or before Oct. 21, 2008, visitors to the Web site will pay $30 for admission to PACK EXPO International. On-site registration, and all registrations received after Oct. 21, 2008, will be processed at the full admission rate of $60. The admission fee allows access to exhibits for the entire five-day exhibition and includes entrance to the co-located PROCESS EXPO and Converting and Package Printing EXPO (CPP EXPO) events. Entrance to all of the show's technology pavilions is also included.

Early registrants have the additional benefit of pre-planning their trip to Chicago with the help of My PACK EXPO(TM). Developed to help attendees make the most of their time during the show, My PACK EXPO focuses planning efforts by allowing attendees to locate specific suppliers and solutions, make booth appointments, register for applicable Conference at PACK EXPO sessions and talk with other show attendees - all in advance of arriving in Chicago.

"PACK EXPO highlights innovation across all aspects of packaging, including equipment, components, materials and containers, so there's a lot to see and little time to waste," said Charles D. Yuska, president and CEO of PMMI. "My PACK EXPO helps make the show individually relevant by guiding attendees and making sure they can focus their attention on what they need for a successful event."

Using the service is simple. Attendees complete their show registration form and short profile online. Once registered, their information is run through the My PACK EXPO database, and a personalized Web portal is generated which reflects the information and preferences outlined during registration.

The My PACK EXPO portal page automatically creates a custom PACK EXPO International visit list, specific to individual needs. And being a Web-based technology, each My PACK EXPO page will continue to be updated as the show dates approach.

"Attendees will get timely reminders to visit their My PACK EXPO page to learn what new information is available to them prior to the show," explained Yuska. "Our goal is for every PACK EXPO attendee to have a detailed itinerary that helps them make the most of what the show has to offer."

PACK EXPO International 2008 will host more than 45,000 decision makers and influencers, including 6,000 international visitors from over 125 countries. Engineers, R&D specialists, brand managers, marketers and other packaging professionals will take advantage of the event to discover the latest packaging technologies to enhance brand preference, reduce total systems costs, increase supply chain efficiencies and improve sustainability scores.

Information and registration for the Conference at PACK EXPO, which runs concurrently with PACK EXPO from Monday, Nov. 10, through Wednesday, Nov. 12, focused on Change, Innovation and Sustainability, will be available on www.packexpo.com beginning in June.
