PMF Expands Facility and Increases FlowformingPlus™ Production Capacity
PMF Expands Production Facility PMF has just completed a 12,000 foot expansion of our facility in order to meet the demand of a growing customer base. After recently adding compressed natural gas to our long, diverse list of industries served, we needed additional space to house new equipment that will increase our current production capacity.
The 12,000 foot addition houses a new 48-inch vertical annealing furnace and will soon hold a 1,000 ton hydraulic press for deep drawing and forming. It will also serve as space for the manufacturing of components for the compressed natural gas (CNG) industry, our latest customer market.
Within the past few years, PMF’s production demand has grown to such an extent that more than 60,000 square feet have been added to the Williamsport facility, bringing total square footage to approximately 130,000. In addition to extra square footage, we continue to acquire new technologies to increase the spectrum of our services. With our wide range of metal forming capabilities such as flowforming, deep drawing, machining, welding, heat treating, and chemical processing, and a long list of national accreditations, we expect expansion to continue into additional markets in the future.
