Plastilit Chooses Battenfeld-Cincinnati Equipment
Plastilit Produtos Plásticos do Paraná Ltda., based in Palmeira/Brazil, celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2013 and will inaugurate a new 90,000 m² plant in Fazenda Rio Grande. Existing extrusion lines will be transferred and a new line from battenfeld-cincinnati added to enlarge production capacities.
"Reliable machinery providing high-quality output and good local service are of great importance to us," says Rafel Abage, owner of Plastilit. "We are very satisfied with our battenfeld-cincinnati extrusion and pelletizing lines. This is why we bought another single-strand extrusion line recently, which will be set up in our new plant."
Plastilit already owns three single-and one twin-strand extrusion lines as well as a pelletizer from battenfeld-cincinnati, on which it produces PVC pipes, fittings and components for a variety of industries.
The Plastilit Group consists of two companies: Plastilit, offering PVC pipes, fittings and components, and Polifort, offering PVC ceiling profiles and PVC folding doors. The company was founded in 1988 by the Abage brothers to meet the need for high-quality, reasonably priced PVC pipes. Since then, it has constantly evolved and enlarged its product range.
