Plastics Pipe Institute Accepting Applications for President

IRVING, Texas – August 19, 2019 - The board of directors for the Plastics Pipe Institute, Inc (PPI), announced today that they are accepting applications for president of the association. PPI’s current president, Tony Radoszewski, will be joining the Plastics Industry Association - PLASTICS - in mid-September as its president and CEO. PPI is the major North American trade association representing all segments of the plastic pipe industry.

“Our goal is to continue the work that Tony, his staff, and our members have done during the past 13 years,” stated Peter Zut of KraussMaffei, chairman of the PPI board. “During that time, PPI went through significant growth, building its reputation as a strong voice of our industry known for technical expertise, marketing programs, and international advocacy.” The PPI search committee is made up of select members of the PPI board of directors. The position is open for a minimum of 30 days.

The position, based in PPI headquarters located in Irving, Texas, requires significant business travel including international destinations, plus experience in the plastics industry. “We’re looking to interview well-rounded candidates who possess knowledge of plastics, pipe and our key markets, along with how an association operates and is governed,” Zut offered. “A minimum of 10 years of experience in business management, strategic planning, execution, financial oversight and personnel management is preferred.”
