Pierre Tanguay Named Vice President Supply Chain, N.A.

LaGrange, GA - (December 19, 2007) -Pierre Tanguay was recently promoted to Vice President Supply Chain, N.A. for Wheelabrator Group North America. Prior to this appointment, Tanguay was the General Manager of Wheelabrator Plus for North America.
Tanguay is responsible for the supply side of the component and equipment manufacturing for the North American operations. This includes the manufacturing sites in Burlington, Ontario, and LaGrange, Ga., along with the strategic sourcing associated with the North American products.
Tanguay has been a part of the Wheelabrator team for nearly 20 years. He began his career in Quality and Continuous Improvement Systems and has held positions managing the foundry in Walterboro, Operations Management in LaGrange and General Management of the aftermarket side of the business. This background provides for a unique skill set in evaluating manufacturing processes and sources of supply for North America.
He received a Master's Degree in Business Management from Ashland University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Youngstown State University.
