Photon Control Announces China Distribution Agreement with Crowntech Photonics
VANCOUVER, July 30, 2018 /CNW/ - Photon Control Inc. ("Photon Control" or the "Company") (TSX: PHO), a leading developer and supplier of optical measurement technologies to the global semiconductor industry, is pleased to announce they have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Crowntech Photonics, a leading manufacturer and distributor of integrated fiber optic modules for the datacom and telecom industries in China.
Crowntech Photonics, based in Shanghai, is now the exclusive distributor in China for Photon Control's fiber optic based temperature and position sensors, used for advanced process monitoring by the world's largest semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment manufacturers. The Company's fiber optic sensors are used primarily in plasma etch and deposition tools, where their superb accuracy and stability in harsh environments improves yield by enhancing process uniformity and equipment uptime in advanced semiconductor device manufacturing.
