Phoenix Contact’s VP of Organization Development & Talent, Patty Marrero, Named to Board of Directors for Regional Manufacturers’ Association
(York, Pa.) – Patty Marrero, Vice President of Organization Development & Talent Acquisition at Phoenix Contact in Middletown, PA was recently named to the Board of Directors of The Manufacturers’ Association, a multi-county regional trade association providing services and benefits to membercompanies in manufacturing and logistics throughout southcentral PA and northcentral MD.
As VP of Organization Development & Talent Acquisition of Phoenix Contact, Patty Marrero has been involved in the company’s organizational development since 2005. Phoenix Contact USA was one of the first international subsidiaries, founded in 1981, from the global company that was founded in Germany in 1923. The U.S. Headquarters is home to manufacturing and distribution center and employs more than 600 employees in Harrisburg, PA and an additional 250 employees throughout the US.
In addition to her new role at the Association, she also co-chairs the NextGen Advanced Manufacturing Partnership in Southcentral PA. The employer group works to address the issues that restrain the growth of manufacturing in the region.
Ms. Marrero has been with Phoenix Contact for over 16 years, and previously worked as a training director at Country Meadows Retirement Communities and Pennsylvania American Water Company. A resident of Hershey, she is SHRM Certified and a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She continued her master studies at Penn State University in Education and earned her master’s degree from Villanova University in Human Resources.
Patty will assume her new role with The Manufacturers’ Association, at the Association’s board of directors meeting on May 26th, 2021.
