Industry Veteran to Provide Leadership and Vision for Derwent, Forward Vision and Extreme CCTV Brands
Vancouver, Canada - Extreme CCTV Inc. (TSX:EXC), the global leader in the design, development and manufacture of active-infrared night vision surveillance equipment, today announces the appointment of Peter Beare to the position of Managing Director of its European Operations.
Beare brings over 15 years of executive management experience to the Extreme CCTV group of companies which now include Forward Vision and Derwent Systems, both based in the United Kingdom. He is well known in both the UK and Europe for his key role as Managing Director of Baxall Ltd., the UK's premier manufacturer of CCTV surveillance cameras. His USA management experience includes CEO positions at B&B ARMR and Ultrak.
In his new role, Beare will provide leadership and vision for the Derwent, Forward Vision and Extreme CCTV brands. Following the recent merger of Forward Vision and Extreme CCTV, one of Beare's major objectives will be to develop Forward Vision's brand aggressively beyond the UK borders. Additionally, Beare will continue to grow the Derwent and Extreme CCTV businesses both domestically in Great Britain and internationally in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
