PESA Demonstrates Innovative Integrated AV Solutions at InfoComm 2015

Huntsville, Alabama – PESA, a leading designer and manufacturer of streaming, routing, and AV integration products, will demonstrate several high-profile integrated AV solutions at InfoComm 2015 (Booth 1515), which runs June 17-19 in Orlando, Fla. The company has a number of new offerings at the show, including a hybrid routing environment that incorporates streaming sources into traditional routing environments, as well as a turnkey system for multi-channel streaming for live events.

The new Cheetah Flex integrated routing environment is the cornerstone of PESA's integrated AV solutions. It supports up to 4K resolution and creates a seamless solution for baseband and IP-based video and audio sources. Cheetah Flex installs the new PESA Blade System (PBS), which holds up to 10 H.264 encoding/decoding cards and is housed in the 2 RU Ross openGear® chassis, directly into a Cheetah digital video router frame. The customizable solution is managed by PESA's Cattrax control software.

“High-quality, multi-channel video streaming has become one of our core technologies over the past few years, and now we've combined that with our world-class baseband routing products to deliver a seamless hybrid routing environment,” explained John T. Wright, senior vice president of sales and business development. “We are excited to share our advancements with the AV professionals at InfoComm who need to work with a variety of traditional and IP-based signals in their facilities. Our integrated AV solutions support installations of any size with any signals through any connector.”

From JITC-certified solutions for fixed installations to JITC-compliant mobile systems, PESA remains the industry leader for large-scale Video Distribution Systems (VDS) for the U.S. Department of Defense. PESA will demonstrate a new mobile command and control solution at InfoComm featuring equipment from technology partners HDT Global, Cobalt Digital, and AVKM.

With technology partner VIQ Solutions, PESA will introduce the PESA A.C.E.S. rich media enabled capture and management solution. Customizable for a number of vertical markets, the two or five-channel video system combines the PESA Xstream C58 or C22 multi-channel streaming media appliance with VIQ Encompass and AccessPOINT software for sophisticated file capture and management.

PESA will also showcase its new PESA Live Services (PLS), an affordable turnkey solution that is redefining the live event experience for entertainment complexes and houses of worship. Deployed earlier this year during the 2015 CIS National Men's Final 8 Tournament at Toronto-based Ryerson University, PLS creates a new way to produce and consume live content for private and webcast productions. To the viewer, the PESA Live app is an interactive, multi-channel, and socially integrated viewing experience for Android and iOS devices. For the producer, PLS provides ample opportunities for ROI by delivering ads, branding, and live messages to live event attendees and worldwide viewers.

During InfoComm, PESA will demonstrate the new PESA Xstream R3232 router. Integrated with NewTek's TriCaster Advanced Edition and developed for use with multi-camera video production systems, it offers 32 3G-SDI I/O, which significantly expands TriCaster's access to video sources. With NewTek's native support for PESA's P1N router control protocol, all professional grade TriCaster users can control the new R3232 router from the TriCaster GUI. Plus, all of TriCaster's SDI outputs can be connected as sources through the R3232 and routed to multiple downstream devices. PESA will also unveil the new Vidblox HTR, which incorporates HDMI technology, supports a wide variety of resolutions, and can be easily configured as a transmitter (TX) or receiver (RX).
