Personnel Changes at TOPP Industries
Topp Industries, Inc. recently announced the appointment of JJ Lang to manage its wholesale sales business across the U.S. and Canada. The creation of this new position at Topp Industries marks another investment in Topp’s effort to strengthen its relationships with its wholesale channel partners and independent sales agents domestically and abroad. Kevin Birchmeier, President and CEO of Topp Industries, said, “I’m extremely proud of the products we make and how we have grown the company over the past 25 years. I place great importance on making sure we support those great products with the right people and with JJ’s diverse experience in the industry combined with his ability to think strategically from a customer’s perspective, he is uniquely suited for this new role and I am excited to have him on board.”Â
Tim Merkel now has the position as Outside Sales Manager at Topp Industries with responsibility for OEM and Engineered sales accounts. Tim has worked at Topp Industries for three years and previously held the position of National Sales Manager for a leading manufacturer of accessory components for the wastewater industry. “I am impressed by all that Tim has accomplished in just 3 years at Topp,” said Kevin Birchmeier, “as he has helped to build our sales organization from the ground up. Now that we are allowing him to give his primary focus to our key Engineered and OEM segments of our business, I am excited for all of the possibilities. Having Tim and JJ now working together is a huge asset to the most important thing in our business – our customers.”Â
