PerMix has launched a "Sustainability through standardization" initiative that allows manufacturers to standardize equipment specifications on a global level, ensuring policies, operational procedures, and quality control maintain intact, regardless of where the facility is located. This will allow global manufacturers to write policies for SQF, HACCP, as well as preventative maintenance procedures to be written from a central location while maintaining consistency throughout the manufacturing process on a global level.
The initiative allows manufacturers with multi-facility sites to specify brands & specifications of components, regardless of location. This will not only standardize policies, it will also allows standardization of spare parts, minimizing spare parts retained.
