Pepperl+Fuchs Achieves UL Class I Div 2, ATEX and IEC-Ex Zone 2 Certification on Panel Mount HMI Products

TWINSBURG, OH - Pepperl+Fuchs has received UL Class I Division 2, ATEX Zone 2 and IEC-Ex Zone 2 certification on their 15 in. and 19 in. Industrial Panel Products. This product line includes the PC8200 series Panel PCs, KM8200 Series Monitors with integral KVM, and RM8200 Series Remote Monitors.
"The global certifications enable companies to have one global standard supported world-wide by the Pepperl+Fuchs sales team, and OEMs with global solutions have the first HMI components with global certifications," says Louis Szabo, Business Development Manager for Pepperl+Fuchs. "These products may be coupled with Pepperl+Fuchs HMI hazardous-rated peripherals such as keyboards and barcode scanners, and can be mated with Bebco EPS purge systems by Pepperl+Fuchs, with typical lead times of one week or less."
Pepperl+Fuchs offers complete stand alone Operator Workstations rated for General Purpose, Class I Division 2, Class I Division 1, ATEX/IEC-Ex Zone 2 and ATEX/IEC-Ex Zone 1, ranging from 15 in. to 22 in. widescreen solutions.
