People on the Move spotlights trailblazers in standardization, highlighting their latest achievements, advancements, and contributions to the standards and conformance community.



ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) has appointed Danny Wong as technical staff lead for its building products listing program. In this role, Mr. Wong will lead all technical activities and oversee the evaluation of products.



Mr. Wong brings over 18 years of experience to the position, with expertise on photovoltaic (PV) racking systems, steel fabrication and erection, steel joists, metal decking, engineered wood products, wood construction connectors, and wood, steel, and aluminum fasteners. A licensed civil engineer and active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) an ANSI member and accredited standards developer Mr. Wong is very knowledgeable about ICC codes and seismic and wind design load provisions.
