American National Standards Institute (ANSI) member and accredited standards developer (ASD) IPC — Association Connecting Electronics Industries has named Peter Chiang to the position of vice president at its IPC China division. Mr. Chiang will assist Phil Carmichael, the president of IPC China, in leading the division’s Chinese operations, and will serve as chief representative for Taiwan, providing standards development support and boosting awareness of IPC in the region.



Prior to joining IPC, Mr. Chiang was employed by Lexmark Asia Pacific Corp. and Wang Industrial Co. Ltd., among other companies. He received a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Taiwan’s National Taipei Commercial College.



IPC is a global association dedicated to supporting the excellence and financial success of its 3,300 members, which represent all aspects of electronics.
