Penn Stainless Products Announces New Technology Resource in Collaboration with "Dr. Metals", Hira Ahluwalia, Ph.D.
Quakertown, PAÂ – Penn Stainless Products has announced a collaborative partnership with "Dr. Metals", Hira Ahluwalia, Ph.D., scientist, metallurgist, materials and corrosion consultant to some of the world’s largest industrial consortiums, and president of Material Selection Resources, Inc. This collaboration will add significant technical expertise and field experience for Penn Stainless Products customers in key areas such as corrosion analysis, material selection and testing. Dr. Metals has served as chairman of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers and is a recipient of that organization’s Distinguished Service Award. He has published over 20 articles.
According to Penn Stainless president, Jim Seward, "Domain expertise is highly critical, given the technical and metallurgical challenges facing many of our customers. We are a service center that believes in providing material solutions - not just raw materials." Seward added, "Dr. Metals has lengthy experience in dealing with corrosion and related metallurgical topics for multiple industry segments. Dr. Metals will assist Penn Stainless and its customers with more demanding specification requirements and technical processes.
