PDS Announces New Southeast Regional Sales Manager

BESSEMER CITY, NC — Precision Drive Systems (PDS), a global provider of precision spindle motors, as well as support and repair, based in Bessemer City, NC, has announced that it has appointed Gene Thompson as its new southeast regional sales manager.

Originally from Goshen, Indiana, Gene Thompson has 34 years of industry expertise and previously worked with PDS as a sales manager from 2011 to 2013. He began his career as a plant manager and plant supervisor in Elkhart, Indiana, responsible for the plant and office operations of one of the largest die manufacturers in the United States. Thompson has served as plant manager for two other manufacturers, including three years with a tool and die manufacturer and another three years with a machining manufacturer, also located in Elkhart.
