Paul Andrews's Legacy Lives on as TTI Announces Melanie Pizzey as The 2022 Founders Award Recipient
Fort Worth, Texas – February 3, 2023 – TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, proudly announces Melanie Pizzey, Corporate Senior Vice President of Commercial Business Operations, as this year’s Founders Award recipient. With this announcement, Pizzey joins the elite Founders Award circle.
The prestigious accolade was presented by Mike Morton, TTI CEO and John Drabik, President, of TTI Americas, last week during the closing awards ceremony following the annual sales leadership conference.
The establishment of this award tradition to honor Paul Andrews in perpetuity began in 2022, following his passing. The honor presents a permanent commemoration of the highest recognition to an individual within the organization who exemplifies the ideals and principles established by Paul Andrews as the cornerstone of TTI more than 50 years ago.
Etched with Andrews’s likeness, the plaque is engraved with the following quote attributed to Andrews for many years – “If a task is once begun, never leave it till it’s done. Be the labor great or small, do it well or not at all.”
In 2022, the inaugural Founders Award was presented jointly to two individuals, Jeff Ray, Senior Vice President, Global Strategic Accounts and Lew LaFornara, Senior Vice President of Product Marketing and Management.
